This homemade pesticide is cheap and easy to make with many being just as effective as some commercial products on the market. Ingredients
- 1 cup rhubarb leaves shopping list
- 6.5 cups water shopping list
- 1/4 cup liquid dish detergent or soap flakes shopping list
How to make it
- Cover rhubarb leaves with water and bring to a boil.
- Boil for 20 minutes then remove from heat and cool.
- Strain then add 1/4 cup liquid dish detergent.
- Spray on plants.
- Good for aphids, june beetles, spider mites, thrips.
- Note:
- Rhubarb leaves are poisonous, take care when preparing and handling. Do not use on food bearing plants.
