Yeast-free Cinnamon Danish Pastries

Outer Layer
- 1 1/4 teaspoon baking soda shopping list
- 1 1/4 teaspoon lemon juice shopping list
- 3/4 cup water shopping list
- 4 cups all-purpose flour,plus extra for dusting shopping list
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 cup milk shopping list
- 4 tablespoons softened butter shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
Inner Layer
- 4 teaspoons ground cinnamon shopping list
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar shopping list
- 4 tablespoons melted butter shopping list
- whipping cream shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a large bowl,combine 1/4 cup water,lemon juice,butter,egg,and milk.
- Add 2 cups flour,baking soda,salt,sugar,and remaining water.
- Mix in remaining flour to make a fluffy dough.
- Knead until stretchy,then roll to make a 16 x 12 inch rectangle.
- Cut in half to make 2 8 x 6 inch rectangles. Set aside.
- In another bowl,mix together brown sugar,cinnamon,and butter.
- Add one rectangle of dough and combine on low speed until sticky.
- On the other rectangle, cut it into small rectangles.
- Generously dust a surface with flour.
- Roll the sticky mixture and cut into smaller rectangles.
- Wrap 2 rectangles over 1 sticky rectangle. Repeat on other pastries.
- Bake for 15 mins. Put whipped cream in a pastry bag.
- Once pastries are finished, decorate with cream and refrigerate briefly.
