Mexican Tea Cookies

- 1 cup butter, softened shopping list
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar shopping list
- 2 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 1 tbsp water shopping list
- 2 cups flour shopping list
- 1 cup chopped pecans shopping list
- Garnish: powdered sugar shopping list
How to make it
- With an electric mixer on medium speed.
- Blend together the butter and the powdered sugar.
- Add the vanilla, water, and the flour.
- Stir in the pecans.
- Shape the dough into walnut-size balls.
- Arrange on an ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake at 300 F for 20 minutes.
- Remove from the oven.
- While the cookies are still hot, roll in additional powdered sugar.
- When cool, roll again in powdered sugar.
