Chipolte Bbq Short Ribs

- 6 lbs beef short ribs shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
- 2/3 c honey shopping list
- 1-1/2 oz minced chipolte peppers shopping list
- pinch of red pepper flakes shopping list
- 4 c bbq sauce shopping list
How to make it
- Season short ribs with salt and pepper. Roast at 350' for 5-7 mins to sear them. Remove from oven and turn heat down to 275' Drizzle honey over ribs and add red pepper flakes and chipolte. Pour bbq sauce over them and cover tightly with foil. Return to oven and cook until tender and falling off the bone,about 3 to 4 hours. Transfer ribs to serving platter and keep warm in oven that has been turned off. Strain roasting juices into saucepot. Let pot settle and skim fat off.
- Bring to boil and if necessary thicken with cornstarch.
- Pour sauce over ribs and serve.
