- flour FOR DUSTING shopping list
- 2 extra large eggs, BEATEN shopping list
- 375 ML dried breadcrumbs (I MAKE MY OWN WITH STALE CHIABATA OR PANINI) shopping list
- Dijon mustard FOR SERVING shopping list
How to make it
- MELT BUTTER IN A SAUCEPAN
- ADD FLOUR AND COOK FOR A MINUTE
- GRADUALLY ADD HOT MILK, STIRRING UNTIL SAUCE THICKENS
- ADD WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE, CHIVES, BEEF AND SEASONING
- POUR MIXTURE ONTO A BAKING SHEET AND ALLOW TO COOL
- ROLL TABLESPOOONFULS OF COLD MIXTURE INTO BALLS
- DUST BALLS IN FLOUR, DIP IN EGG AND COAT IN BREADCRUMBS
- PUT IN FRIDGE FOR 30 MINUTES TO SET
- HEAT 4 CM OIL IN A PAN AND FRY BALLS IN BATCHES UNTIL GOLDEN
- DRAIN ON KITCHEN PAPER
- SERVE WITH MUSTARD
