How to make it

  • In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and the sugars until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs, one at a time.
  • Beat well after each addition.
  • Beat in the extract
  • Combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add to the creamed mixture.
  • Set aside 1/4 cup vanilla chips.
  • Stir in the remaining chips into the batter.
  • Spread into a greased 15 x 10 inch baking pan.
  • Sprinkle with the reserved chips.
  • Bake at 375 F for 18-23 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
  • Cool on a wire rack.
  • Cut into bars.

    Sounds great - and I'd probably use the chocolate chips, or even a mixture of the white and chocolate...thanks for sharing!
