How to make it

  • What to do?
  • Remove seeds from dates & tamarind. Wash & soak in just enough warm water for 30 minutes. Grind to a paste, pass through sieve. Add chopped jaggery & cook for 5 minutes till jaggery melts. Remove from fire, add salt, garam masala, jeera powder & black pepper powder. Store in fridge. If too thick, dilute with plain water, adjust seasoning.

Do try and I hope you will enjoy eating home made PaniPuris with Sweet Chutney.

In India, you can easily buy Puri's in any Super Market or any grocery store. You can also make the Puri's at home. I am posting the recipe for how to make Puri's for Pani Puri.

Wonderful! I have to try this one for sure.

Question for you... do you buy your Puris? OR can they be made at home? And.. do you have a recipe for them if you can make them at home :-)
