How to make it

  • Preheat the oven to 400F
  • Lay slices down on a baking sheet in a single layer
  • Brush each slice liberally with olive oil
  • sprinkle on basil, garlic powder and shredded cheese
  • Bake till slices are soft and golden brown
  • Use as you wish.
  • We often top the slices with tomato sauce and fresh chopped basil

    Ah, yes. I cut these lengthwise, very thinly,grill, and use as part of a vegetable stack. I will try to post this with a picture. Ha Ha Trying to post a picture is sooo diffcult for me, but I'll give it my best shot. Will try this recipe this week; it looks scrumptious.Another great post from you, dear.
