How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a 9" square pan.
  • Open cake mix, measure out and reserve 1 2/3 cups dry cake mix, lightly packed.
  • Beat remaining cake mix, water, oil and eggs in medium bowl on low speed for 30 seconds, scraping constantly. Increase speed to medium and beat for 2 minutes longer, scraping frequently. Spread evenly in prepared pan.
  • Put pan in preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes. Remove from oven and completely cool.
  • Beat 1 3/4 c. whipping cream and reserved 1 2/3 c. dry cake mix until stiff. Fold in marshmallow, walnuts, and chocolate chips. Spread over cooled cake. Drizzle Chocolate Glaze over top. Chill at least 2 hours before serving. Refrigerate leftovers.
  • Chocolate Glaze:
  • Heat 1 T. whipping cream, 1 tsp. butter and 1 oz. coarsely chopped chocolate chips over medium heat, stirring, until smooth. Use immediately.

    As for this one 'Dirtbag' of a recipe...Can't you hear the chapel bells ringing...sliding this recipe in the sleeves of my recipe file between my Sweetheart Cake recipe and my Orange Kiss Cookie recipe...and if anyone has any reason why these three should not me joined,let them now and forever more hold their peace.
