Black Forest Cheesecake Recipe
This is one of my most favorite recipes out of the Southern Living Magazine...Januarary 1994 Issue This is a low cal version.

Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup teddy bear-shaped chocolate graham cracker cookies, crushed
  • Butter flavored cooking spray
  • 2 (12 oz) packages fat free cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup egg substitute
  • 1 cup semi sweet chocolate morsels, melted
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 (8oz) carton non fat sour cream
  • 1 (21-ounce) reduced calorie cherry pie filling3/4 cup reduced calorie frozen whipped topping, thawed

Directions
  1. Spread cookie crumbs on bottom of a 9 inch springform pan coated with cooking spray; set aside.
  2. Beat cream cheese at high speed with an electric mixer until fluffy; gradually adding sugar, beating well.
  3. Gradually add egg substitute , mixing well.
  4. Add melted chocolate, cocoa, vanilla, mixing until blended.
  5. Stir in sour cream.
  6. Pour into prepared pan.
  7. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 40 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven; run knife around edge of pan to release sides.
  9. Let cool on wire rack; cover and chill at least 8 hours.
  10. Removes sides of pan, and spread with cherry pie filling.
  11. Dollop each serving with 1 tablespoon whipped topping.
  12. For a creamy textured cheesecake, bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
