- Ingredients: shopping list
- 1 pk. dry yeast shopping list
- 3/4 cup warm water shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. sugar shopping list
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- vegetable oil for frying shopping list
- 10x sugar for dusting shopping list
How to make it
- Method:
- Dissolve yeast in warm water. Let stand 5 minutes. Stir in eggs and sugar, add flour, salt and stir until mixture is smooth.
- Place in greased bowl and cover with clean kitchen towel. Allow to rise until doubled in bulk about 1 hour. Punch down and knead for a minute. Allow to rise again until double in bulk, about 30-40 minutes.
- Pour 2 inches of oil into a deep skillel or use a deep fryer. Heat to 400 degrees. drop dough by teaspoonfulls into hot fat. They will form lots of different shapes! When golden brown on one side, turn and brown other side. Drain on paper towels. When cool, dust with confectioner's sugar (10x).
