How to make it

  • Combine chicken, garlic, soy, ginger, sugar and salt in blender, puree
  • Saute this mixture in a little oil until fragrant and raw seasonings are cooked
  • Add sake or broth and rest of the vegetables
  • Cook until veggies are done but crisp
  • Remove from fire and add sesame oil, mix well add a little extra sake or broth if mixture is too dry
  • Allow this mixture to cool to room temperature
  • Add mayo
  • Refrigerate mixture for use as a salad or fill eggrolls as I did and deep fry.
  • This is so good cooled down with the mayo that I almost did not have enough left to fill the eggrolls !!!!

    I was looking for a nice chicken filling for some wonton basket appetizers. I'll be taking to a party at the end of February. I believe this would work really well. Thanks for the ideas.
