How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 325' Spray 2 qt. casserole with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Bring water and 1/2 tsp salt to a boil in med. saucepan.Stir in wild rice. Reduce heat to low;cover and cook 45 mins mor till rice is tender. Drain well.
  • Meanwhile , heat oil in large skillet over med. heat. Add mushrooms,onion and celery;cook and stir 7 to 10 mins or till tender. Stir in wild rice,cranberries,pecans,if desired,remaining 1/2 tsp salt,sage and pepper.
  • Spoon mixture into prepared casserole. Bake 20 mins or till heated through.
