Wild Rice,Mushroom And Cranberry Dressing

- 3 c water shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 c wild rice shopping list
- 1 TB olive oil shopping list
- 1 c chopped shitake or button mushrooms shopping list
- 1 small red onion,finely chopped shopping list
- 1/2 c celery,chopped shopping list
- 1/2 c dried cranberries shopping list
- 1/2 c chopped toated pecans(optional shopping list
- 1/2 tsp minced fresh sage or 1/8 tsp dried sage shopping list
- 1/8 tsp black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 325' Spray 2 qt. casserole with non-stick cooking spray.
- Bring water and 1/2 tsp salt to a boil in med. saucepan.Stir in wild rice. Reduce heat to low;cover and cook 45 mins mor till rice is tender. Drain well.
- Meanwhile , heat oil in large skillet over med. heat. Add mushrooms,onion and celery;cook and stir 7 to 10 mins or till tender. Stir in wild rice,cranberries,pecans,if desired,remaining 1/2 tsp salt,sage and pepper.
- Spoon mixture into prepared casserole. Bake 20 mins or till heated through.
