Acorn Squash With A Butter Pecan Sauce

                    - 2 acorn squash shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter shopping list
- 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar shopping list
- 2 tablespoons maple falvoured syrup shopping list
- 1/4 cup coarsly chopped pecans shopping list
How to make it 
                    - 1. Heat oven to 350 F.
- 2. Cut squash in half lengthwise, remove seeds.
- 3. Cut squash hales crosswise into 1 inch thick slices.
- 4. Arrange slices in 13 x 9 (3 quart) glass baking dish, cover with foil.
- 5. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes or until almost tender.
- 6. Meanwhile in a small saucepan over medium heat, then stir in the brown sugar, syrup and pecans.
- 7. Cook just until the sugar dissolves, stiring constantly.
- 8. Remove squash from the oven and spoon the pecan mixture over the squash.
- 9. Return to the oven and bake an additional 1-15 minutes or until the squash is tender.
