Chicken Schnitzel

- 1 cup breadcrumbs shopping list
- 1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese(optional) shopping list
- salt and black pepper shopping list
- 1 cup of flour shopping list
- 1 egg beaten shopping list
- 6 boneless and skinless chicken breasts shopping list
- 2 tablespoons each of oil and butter shopping list
How to make it
- Pound each chicken breast with a wooden mallet or cake roller untill the are about 1,5 cm or 1/2 inch thick.
- Next prepare three bowels:
- in your first bowel add your cup of flour with a pinch of salt and pepper
- in the next one add your beaten egg with another pinch of salt and pepper
- and in the third one add your breadcrumbs with parmesan cheese and mix the cheese and crumbs together
- Take each chicken breast and start by first dipping it into the flour, then egg and lastly into the breadcrumb mixture.
- Once they are all coated, place them one by one back into the breadcrumbs to ensure that they have a nice coat of breadcrumbs.
- Heat the oil and butter together in a pan on a medium heat and gently fry them until the crumbs are golden brown.
