No-crust Apple Betty

- 4 cups thinly sliced apples shopping list
- 1/4 cup orange juice shopping list
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1 cup white sugar shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg shopping list
- 1 pinch salt shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter shopping list
- whip cream or vanilla ice cream shopping list
- Extra cinnamon to top shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease a 9 inch pie plate.
- Arrange sliced apples in the pie plate. Drizzle with orange juice.
- In a medium bowl, mix the flour, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Cut in butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over apples and orange juice.
- Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes. Serve warm. Top with whip topping and cinnamon. Also delicous with vanilla ice cream!
