Ingredients

How to make it

  • Clean and rinse peas
  • To dutch oven, add all ingredients
  • Bring to boil
  • Reduce heat to simmer and cook until peas are tender
  • Remove remaining meat from bone and add back to soup
  • Enjoy!!

    Man, too bad I don't eat ham, but Rick does..This sounds just like the split pea soup his Mom made that he still talks about:) .I could do like Janet does and make 2 pots, one with ham and one without!!! Bookmarked to try soon:)
