How to make it

  • Combine mayo or Miracle Whip with sour cream/yogurt and 1/2 tsp lime juice.
  • Cut fruit and toss with additional lime juice to prevent browning. Fold in dressing and dried cranberries.
  • Chill at least one hour before serving (if possible).
  • Serve the salad piled on a lettuce leaf. Garnish with toasted almonds, peanuts, or cashew pieces.

    You have made Oscar Tschirky proud with your Waldorf Salad.
    It would be nice to grow fresh mint on the kitchen window sill,to have for these times.
