How to make it

  • Combine first 5 ingredients in a medium sauce pan.
  • Bring to a boil then simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat; stir in flavorings and let cool before bottling.
  • Don't know how long this is shelf stable. It never lasts in my house.
  • I keep it in the pantry next to the honey.
