Fresh & Healthy Cabbage Skillet

- 1 lb. lean ground beef OR ground turkey shopping list
- 1 head cabbage, sliced thinly, then coarsely chopped shopping list
- 1 green pepper (or any color) chopped shopping list
- 1 med. onion, chopped shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped shopping list
- 1 14.5 oz. can petite-diced tomatoes, drained, OR 2 cups chopped, fresh shopping list
- Few dashes worcestershire sauce shopping list
- sprinkling of sea or kosher salt and fresh ground pepper, to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Brown ground beef or turkey in skillet until just cooked. Drain thoroughly and set aside, covered. Spray large non-stick skillet with cooking spray and add cabbage, onions, peppers, garlic, salt and pepper. Stir fry on high for a few minutes, then lower heat and cover, stirring occasionally, for another couple of minutes. Add meat, tomatoes and Worcestershire sauce. Continue cooking another few minutes, covered, until desired degree of doneness is reached. Pass grated Parmesan cheese and more Worcestershire at table, if desired. Enjoy!

This is good for how quick it comes together! I felt it needed a little more moisture in the end so I stirred in a little tomato sauce an viola, perfect :) Thanks! A little more in the IMI ------> more
