Fresh & Healthy Cabbage Skillet

    This was pretty good. Used red bell pepper instead of green and opted for the fresh tomatoes. At the end I tasted it and thought it was missing something. Added in about 4oz. of tomato sauce and that made it less dry which is what I think was the issue. Really good though for cheap, easy food!

    Great photo! This sounds really good. I love cooked cabbage. This looks kind of like a cross between a stuffed cabbage roll or a stuffed pepper. I can see it being bland and I would probably end up adding a ton of salt.

    Thanks everyone :) DIZ, it is like an un-stuffed cabbage roll! The tomato sauce I added really added another element of flavor that this needed. Yes lots of salt was involved lol. FA rice would be another perfect addition. I did serve some roasted potatoes on the side for the family. I just ate this on it's own, trying to be a good girl :)
