Bacon And Egg Cheeseburgers

- 1 pound ground chuck shopping list
- 4 eggs, fried (I prefer soft-fried) shopping list
- 8 slices bacon, cooked crisp shopping list
- 4 slices American cheese, or cheese of choice shopping list
- 1 medium onion, sliced and sauteed in olive oil, optional shopping list
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise, optional shopping list
- 4 hamburger buns, split and toasted, if desired shopping list
How to make it
- Shape beef into 4 equal patties and season with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Preheat grill or pan and cook burgers to desired doneness.
- Top with cheese and allow to melt.
- Toast buns, if desired.
- To assemble burger, place burger on bottom half of bun and top with a fried egg and two strips of bacon.
- Top with onions, optional, mayonnaise, optional and top of bun.
- Serve and enjoy!
- NOTE: I usually cook my bacon and onions first, and then while the burgers are cooking, I fry my eggs. Feel free to use any condiments you choose or none at all. I also recommend using a heartier hambuger bun to hold in all the goodness.
