Ingredients

How to make it

  • cut the steak into small nickle sized pieces
  • heat olive oil in skillet over medium heat
  • add steak, garlic, salt & pepper, lemon juice, & wine
  • You can either deep fry your fries in oil in a separate pot at this time or bake them in the oven (they are better fried but better for you from the oven ;)
  • once fries and steak are done, drain the fries on a paper towel for a minute before transferring to a dinner plate
  • place steak (carne asada) on top of the fries
  • top with cheese
  • mix the chopped tomato and onion together and add to the top of the carne asada
  • top or add on the side: sour cream, salsa, and guacamole

This sounds and looks delicious. I prefer to deep fry the fries.

LOVE this post. I eat an absurd amount of carne asada. And who doesn't love fries?
