Simple Coconut Shrimp

- 1 pound small shrimp, peeled & deveined shopping list
- 1 cup all purpose flour shopping list
- garlic powder, salt, pepper shopping list
- 2 large eggs shopping list
- shredded coconut shopping list
- canola oil shopping list
How to make it
- Remove shrimp tails.
- Set out 3 small bowls: mix flour & spices in first bowl, beat eggs in second bowl, place shredded coconut in third bowl.
- Coat shrimp first in flour mixture, shaking off excess. Then coat in egg, then cover in coconut. Place shrimp on parchment paper while you heat oil in a heavy pan. When oil is hot (a drop of water sizzles in it), transfer shrimp to pan. Cook until golden all over, about 4 minutes total.
