Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Toast sesame seeds, stirring often, till they start to smell toasty.
  • Remove from oven and cool for 20 minutes.
  • Place toasted sesame seeds into a food processor and add oil.
  • Blend for 2 minutes. Check for consistency. Tahini should be thick but pourable.
  • Add salt if desired

    Thanks for the post, never bought it because of the price, couldn't justify it. Will try this. Probably reduce the quantities by half.

    I make my own hummus as well... and HATE paying $10 a jar for tahini.. thank so much... my question is.. How long do the raw seeds keep?
