Home Made Tahini

- 5 cups raw sesame seeds shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups good quality oil (I use olive oil) shopping list
- salt to taste, if desired shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Toast sesame seeds, stirring often, till they start to smell toasty.
- Remove from oven and cool for 20 minutes.
- Place toasted sesame seeds into a food processor and add oil.
- Blend for 2 minutes. Check for consistency. Tahini should be thick but pourable.
- Add salt if desired
