How to make it

  • Make a thick syrup with the sugar and a little water to melt the sugar.
  • Remove from the heat and beat in the jam. Boil again over low flame to thicken again.
  • Cool it down a little and add the beaten eggs and cinnamon, stirring vigorously.
  • Butter really well small patty tins and half fill them with the mixture (the sweets rise a lot when baking)
  • Bring the tins to a preheated oven (375F) until set and golden.
