How to make it

  • Brown the beef and chorizo in the bacon fat over medium heat.
  • Add the onion and saute for a few minutes.
  • Add the remaining ingredients, stir.
  • cover and simmer for 1 to 2 hours on low heat.
  • Serve with sharp cheddar and sour cream (optionally)
