How to make it

  • 1. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a pan and add the mushrooms and the onions and cook until tender and liquid is evaporated and stir in parsley and thyme and optional 1/2 cup white wine
  • 2. Mix the cream cheese and mustard and lay out the puff pastry on a floured surface and roll into 14 inch square and then cut into 4 equal pieces and then spoon the divided mushroom mixture onto each of the squares and spread over a little and then place the chicken breast (you can trim the uneven pieces of the breast off)
  • 3. And then place the cream cheese mixture on each chicken breast divided and brush the edges of the squares with the egg and fold like a package putting the edges underneath and place on baking sheet and then brush with the egg mixture and you can either bake it immediately of put in fridge under ready to go in oven
  • 4. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden at 400 degrees f
