- 3lbs sirloin beef steak, sliced thin and in strips shopping list
- 5-6 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- 1/3 cup plus 2-3T olive or peanut oil, divided shopping list
- 1/2 cup worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 2T oyster sauce shopping list
- 2t steak seasoning, heavy on the black pepper shopping list
- juice from 1 lemon shopping list
- 1/4 cup corn starch shopping list
- 1/2-2t red pepper flakes shopping list
- 12oz fresh mushrooms, sliced shopping list
- 5-6 green onions, sliced shopping list
- 2 cups broccoli slaw mix shopping list
- 2 cups snap or sugar peas shopping list
- 6 servings rice(I used wild/brown) shopping list
How to make it
- Combine meat with garlic, oil, Worcestershire and oyster sauces, steak seasoning and lemon juice in large bowl.
- Mix well to distribute seasonings and oil. See Photo
- Set aside for about half an hour.
- Then, add corn starch and toss, again.
- Heat about 2-3 T of oil in wok or similar pan til hot.
- Add red pepper flakes and shake and let cook about 30 seconds.
- Immediately add beef(dump the whole bowl in, but stand back ;)
- Stir and cook until just above rare..this should only take a few minutes.
- Add all veggies and toss well.
- Cook a few more minutes just until meat is done to your liking(medium rare is best, IMO) and veggies have just lost their crunch.
- Serve over prepared rice

The worcestershire in this was a nice change from your typical soy sauce based stir-frys. I didn't realize my mushrooms had gone bad on me until I pulled everything out to make this dish so I had to leave them out which was a bummer. It was still ver...more
