How to make it

  • Combine chili powder, paprika, garlic powder,1/4 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp pepper in small bowl. Pat pork dry with paper towels and sprinkle all over with spice mixture.
  • Heat oil in large skillet over med-high heat until just smoking. Add pork and cook till well browned,4 to 5 mins a side. Transfer pork to large bowl, tent with foil and let rest 5 mins. Using 2 forks, shred meat into bite size pieces.
  • Meanwhile, add broth, barbecue sauce and vinegar to empty skillet, scraping up browned bits. Simmer over med-low heat till sauce has thickened, about 3 mins.
  • Stir in shredded pork and cook till heated through, about 2 mins. Season with salt and pepper and serve.Serve on hamburger buns with pickles..
  • To make shredding easier, trim tenderloins well before cooking.

I tried something similar with a pork tenderloin a couple of weeks ago and it turned out great. 5 Stars.

Well I love me some pulled pork, and I don't always have time to do the long slow braise...and pork tenderloin is so much nicer to the waistline...I think I will have to try this one! Thank you for the post.

    Cheers - Lindy
