I found this recipe scribbled on an index card in my mom's recipe box. Quick easy and can be dressed up to your exact liking.

Ingredients
  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup coarsely crushed saltines
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Directions
  1. In a bowl, combine egg, milk, onion, chili powder, salt and Worcestershire sauce.
  2. Mix in 1/2 cup cracker crumbs.
  3. Add beef, mix well.
  4. Shape into 6 patties about 1/2 inch thick
  5. Coat with remaining crumbs.
  6. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook patties in the oil for 5 minutes on each side or until meat is no longer pink.
  7. Serve with condiments of your choice.

Man, oh man ... two nights in a row you've not let me down!! This was great. I added some mushrooms and used a whole onion though. Aside from that, I followed the recipe and it was fantastic!!! THANKS!! :-)
