This recipe is exactly like foodnetworks Cathy Lowe's recipe except that she uses 1 tsp of vanilla instead of 2. Mix dry ingredients with a wooden spoon and set aside. In a small bowl combine eggs, milk, oil and vanilla. Beat well with hand mixer. Slowly add boiling water and mix. Add wet ingredients to flour mixture and fold and stir until smooth. Bake and enjoy a delicious moist and chocolatety cake.

Ditto, what should be done with the water? I added the water with the oil, but it looked like it became too watery. It expanded and dripped over the pans, so I think I shouldn't have added it. Unfortunately, I made it as a gift for someone and it fell in the middle. I can't use it for that, so I will try it myself, when it cools, but I wish I hadn't used this recipe.
