Erikas Fruit Tart Recipe

Erikas Fruit Tart Recipe
This was made for a Mother Daughter Tea. Another recipe I had to go after! It is super super easy. A throw together and it is DELICIOUS. You can use fresh fruit or pie fillings. This is great warm with vanilla ice cream, or cold. Enjoy

Ingredients
  • Mix till crumbly:
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 pound butter, melted
  • Mix flour, sugar, baking soda and butter. Reserve 3/4 -1 cup dough ( depending how much crumbs you like for the top)
  • grease cookie sheet and spray with pam or grease with butter. Pat the unreserved dough into pan.
  • 2 Jars of Pie filling
  • (this can be same kind of filling one for one side one for the other side. I usually give variety and get 2 different kind like peach on one side blueberry on the other. Or do all peach or all blueberry. OR any fruit you prefer) OR YOU CAN USE FRESH FRUIT

Directions
  1. Pour filling onto dough. Sprinkle reserved topping onto fruit.
  2. Bake 350 for 50-60 minutes
  3. cut into squares. Can serve with ice cream. Or when it cools sprinkle on 10x sugar.
  4. This is just a great little recipe. So many more things you can add and do to it. Enjoy!!
