Stuffed Mushrooms

- 4 to 6 mushrooms per person shopping list
- Finely chopped onion to taste shopping list
- Finely chopped celery to taste shopping list
- Crisp cooked bacon, crumbled or cooked breakfast sausage shopping list
- 1/2 cup of cheese, shredded shopping list
- 4 large whole black olives, chopped shopping list
- Freshly ground black pepper to taste shopping list
- sea salt to taste shopping list
- Other ingredients if desired - jalapenos, sun dried tomatoes, zucchini, etc. shopping list
How to make it
- Wipe the mushrooms clean. Break or cut the stems off the mushrooms and dice the stems.
- Heat a little bit of olive oil or butter in a skillet and add chopped mushroom stems, chopped onion, and celery. Saute until the onion is translucent. If adding zucchini or jalapenos, you can saute them with the rest of this stuff.
- Mix the sauteed ingredients with the cooked meat, cheese, and olives. Stuff mixture into mushroom caps and bake at about 350 for 15 minutes until cheese is melted.
