Ingredients
  • Frozen Pumpkin Pie
  • 9 inch baked pie shell
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon aromatic bitters
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 4-1/2 ounces frozen whipped topping thawed
  • 1 pint butter pecan ice cream softened
  • 2 tablespoons chopped pecans

Directions
  1. Mix pumpkin, brown sugar, bitters, ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon together.
  2. Fold in whipped topping.
  3. Spread softened ice cream into cooled crust then swirl pumpkin mixture over ice cream.
  4. Quickly freeze uncovered at least 3 hours.
  5. Remove from freezer 15 minutes before serving.
  6. Sprinkle with pecans.
