Triple Truffle Brownies

- 4 ounces unsweetened baking chocolate shopping list
- 1/2 pound real butter shopping list
- 2 cups granulated sugar shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 1 cup flour shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract shopping list
- Second Layer: shopping list
- 6 tablespoons real butter shopping list
- 3-1/2 cups powdered sugar sifted shopping list
- 5 tablespoons milk shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- Third Layer: shopping list
- 1 ounce semisweet chocolate chips shopping list
- 6 tablespoons real butter shopping list
- 1 cup sifted powdered sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350.
- For first layer melt chocolate and butter together over low heat then cool slightly.
- Add eggs, sugar and extracts then blend well then stir in flour until blended.
- Turn into greased and floured rectangular metal pan and bake 25 minutes and cool completely.
- For second layer melt butter until golden brown then immediately stir in remaining ingredients.
- Spread over cooled brown layer then chill until set and firm.
- For third layer melt chips and butter together then stir in sugar.
- Pour over cooled second layer and spread.
- Finish with drizzling powdered sugar or sugar glaze over top.
