How to make it

  • Add first 8 ingredients to blender and puree
  • Put into zip bag with meat and marinate 3-4 hours
  • In large skillet, add oil and heat to medium high
  • Add steak and cook 4-5-minutes each side
  • Remove from skillet and rest
  • Add a little oil to same skillet
  • Add pepper, onion, salt and pepper
  • Saute until tender crisp
  • Heat tortillas, either in microwave or on stove top over open flame
  • Slice steak in thin slices (If using skirt steak or something like that, cut against the grain and on the diagonal)
  • Fill tortilla with steak, veggies and desired toppings

    This was good. I had bought stir fry beef to use. After marinating the beef was a little tough. I'll wait until steak is on sale to make this again.
