How to make it

  • Brown each meat type individually. Season beef with black and red pepper. While meat is browning start a large pot with the 4 jars of ragu, Del Monte Diced Tomatos, Parsley, Oregano, Basil, Salt, pepper, Fresh Crushed or minced Garlic, Brown Sugar on Medium heat covered. Once Meat has been drained add it to Pot with sauce mixture. In same skillet used for meat add olive oil and unsalted butter, saute the onion till clear and slightly browned. Cut the onion however you prefer. Add the sauted onions to the sauce. Cook the sauce on a mild simmer stirring every few minutes for about 45 min before serving. Freeze Left overs for quick yummy meals later. I use a good bit of meat that others might not prefer. Anyone that loves to cook can adjust a recipe to thier taste and opinion.

    Love the use of the flavored tomato items.. Sounds meaty and flavorful. Will give this a try - anxious to see how it differs from mine.
