Joe's Meat Sauce

- 4 Jars Ragu tomato garlic & onion pasta sauce shopping list
- 2.5 lbs ground beef shopping list
- 1 lbs Ground Italian pork sausage ( Not Sweet!) shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup parsley shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon oregano shopping list
- 2 teaspoons basil shopping list
- 1 1/2 tablespoons salt shopping list
- 1 1/2 teaspoon pepper shopping list
- 2 Large Vadilla onion shopping list
- 1 cans Del Monte Diced tomatos with basil, garlic and oregano shopping list
- 2 cans Del Monte Diced tomatos With garlic onion shopping list
- 6-8 cloves garlic shopping list
- olive oil shopping list
- unsalted butter shopping list
How to make it
- Brown each meat type individually. Season beef with black and red pepper. While meat is browning start a large pot with the 4 jars of ragu, Del Monte Diced Tomatos, Parsley, Oregano, Basil, Salt, pepper, Fresh Crushed or minced Garlic, Brown Sugar on Medium heat covered. Once Meat has been drained add it to Pot with sauce mixture. In same skillet used for meat add olive oil and unsalted butter, saute the onion till clear and slightly browned. Cut the onion however you prefer. Add the sauted onions to the sauce. Cook the sauce on a mild simmer stirring every few minutes for about 45 min before serving. Freeze Left overs for quick yummy meals later. I use a good bit of meat that others might not prefer. Anyone that loves to cook can adjust a recipe to thier taste and opinion.
