How to make it

  • combine first 5 ingredients in large pan over high heat
  • bring to a boil, then simmer on low for 30 minutes
  • transfer half of mixture to blender and blend for 20 seconds
  • pour back in pan, add flour and whisk together
  • then, add cream and ham and simmer for 15 minutes to thicken

    This was an easy dish to fix and it was so good. I added some grated cheddar on top because I love the taste of broccoli and cheddar. A success for me. YUM!
