How to make it

  • boil and chop potatoes and eggs making sure to reserve boiled yolks in a bowl
  • pour pickle juice, onion and salt over hot potatoes and let sit in the fridge
  • add mayo mustard, seasonings to the egg yolks and smash and stir until a thick sauce forms
  • take the potatoes out of the fridge and stir deviled sauce in with the potatoes and onion let sit in fridge 1 hour or overnight and get ready for the compliments!

    I made this to spec for the most part, but added a little diced red pepper for colour. I use to get the walla walla onions when I lived out West. But I had to use Vidalia onions for this. I thought a Tablespoon of paprika was way too much so I started with a tsp and ended up using almost 3 tsps. by the end. My paprika wasn't spicy at all so I added a pinch of cayenne pepper. I love devilled eggs, and this was a huge hit! :)
