Ingredients

How to make it

  • Season pork chunks with the paprika, salt and pepper.
  • Set aside.
  • Heat oil in deep skillet, cook the onion until translucent and soft.
  • Add mushrooms, green pepper and garlic and cook for a few minutes more.
  • Remove veggies from pan and in the pan drippings, cook the pork chunks a few at a time to sear the meat and are browned all over, over high heat.
  • Add veggies back into the pan.
  • Lower heat and cook for 15 minutes.
  • Turn up the heat and off the flame, add the brandy, cook on high until almost all the brandy evaporates.
  • Add the cream.
  • Lower heat again and cook gently for five minutes or so until the sauce has thickened.
  • Sprinkle with parsley and extra paprika.
  • Good over white rice. I served it with crispy roasted potatoes.
