How to make it

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a 8x8 in. pan.
  • 2. Beat butter, sugar, and vanilla with a spoon in a large bowl. Add eggs; beat well.
  • 3. Stir together flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt; gradually add to egg mixture, beating until well blended. Stir in nuts then spread into prepared pan.
  • 4. Bake for 20 - 25 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely; cut into squares.
