Bacon Maple Cupcakes For Fathers Day

these will blow your mind! sweet and salty, smokey, soft, buttery, and dont forget bacony. perfect man food!
Ingredients
- butter cake: shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups flour shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 2 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1 tsp vanila shopping list
- 3/4 cup milk shopping list
- Cream ceese frosting: shopping list
- 1 8oz pack cheese shopping list
- 1 stick of butter shopping list
- 2 cups powder sugar shopping list
- 2 tsp maple syrup shopping list
- pinch of salt shopping list
- splash of half and half or cream shopping list
- candied bacon: shopping list
- cook 6 strips of thick cut bacon til nearly done then sprinkle generously with brown sugar and continue to cook, flipping bacon often, till candied and crisp. shopping list
How to make it
- cream butter sugar butter and salt till fluffy
- add eggs and stir
- add sifted flour and baking soda and milk alternatly
- pour into greased and floured cupcake pan, i used mini cupcake pan
- bake at 350* till fluffy and slightly brown, cool
- make candied bacon set aside to cool
- make frosting once cakes are cooled and frost generously
- to make frosting cream room temp butter and creamcheese together
- add vanilla and sugar and stir, add cream if to dry
- TOP IT OFF WITH SHARDS OF BROKEN UP CANDIED BACON!
