New York Egg Cream Recipe

	Jaie / All my dishes 2 years, 3 months ago The egg cream doesn't actually have any eggs. It was a soda fountain drink that was super popular in the 60's and 70's and orginated in Brooklyn and the Bronx. My mom and I were talking about them today, so I had to post this. Prep:1m Servings:1	Jaie

Ingredients

2 Tablespoons chocolate syrup (authentic egg creams use Fox's U-Bet chocolate syrup)

1 cup whole milk

seltzer water

Directions

In a nice tall glass, pour chocolate syrup and milk.

Mix together but not too much.

While stirring, add seltzer until it come to the top and forms a white head.

Insert straw and sip until your heart is content!

It's okay to wipe your mouth on your sleeve!!!!
