this is a great family dish that can be slow cooked or made in a hurry..this is a simple wholesome family meal that gets better the second time round as leftovers

Ingredients
  • 700g lean lamb or beef mince
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 6 Tbsp long grain rice
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 4 c water
  • 1 c water
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 Tbsp tomato sauce
  • 2 Tbsp worchester sauce
  • 1 diced apple
  • 1 shredded cabbage
  • 1 pkt chicken noodle soup
  • salt n' pepper to taste
  • and any veges you want to add

Directions
  1. Brown mince and onion, add sugar, sauces, rice, curry, apple and the 4 c water...simmer 15 mins,
  2. then add cabbage, veges, soup mix and the 1 c of water, simmer another 15 mins , thicken as nessasary and season with salt n pepper to taste! enjoy
