Ingredients

How to make it

  • Clean and slice the mushrooms
  • In a wok or frying pan, melt the butter into the oil, to give enough to coat the amount of mushrooms you're cooking
  • Add the mushrooms and fry until just starting to brown
  • Add enough oyster sauce to thoroughly coat the mushrooms, plus a bit more for extra sauce.
  • Great as part of a Chinese meal, either as a side dish or stirred into cooked noodles - or fantastic as a topping for steak, pork fillet or chicken

Excellent!!! I used a combo of cremini and king oyster mushrooms because that's what I had on hand. This is a very easy and simple dish yet it has big flavour. I had a little leftover steamed cauliflower that I cooked in another pan ,I added this after I tasted the original recipe. That combo really works. Thanks for sharing, it's a keeper and I know that I will be making this again and again.
