Beef Stroganoff

- 500 grams round steak shopping list
- 250 grams fresh mushrooms shopping list
- 1 medium onion (chopped) shopping list
- 1 pack condensed mushroom soup (or broth with 1 Tbp cornstarch) shopping list
- 1/8 tsp whorstershire sauce shopping list
- 1 cup sour cream shopping list
- a dash of nutmeg shopping list
- 1/2 cup beer (or wine or wine vinegar or whatever you have even water will have) shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- 1 pack pasta any shape you like shopping list
- 5 Tbsp butter (or you can use oil if you want or a mix of both) shopping list
- some fresh chopped dill (optional) shopping list
- 4 garlic cloves (minced) shopping list
How to make it
- season the meat with salt and pepper and cut it into bite size and leave it for 2 hours to marinate in the refrigerator
- add 3 Tbsp butter (oil) in a proper heated pan and pan fry the steak pieces
- after the browned nicely remove from the pan and add the chopped onion and the left of butter (oil) brown nicely , add mined garlic
- then add the sliced mushrooms and stir until they browned nicely too
- add then the beer stir well and simmer
- then add the soup and stir very well (see if the sauce too thick add a bit of water)
- then add the nutmeg and the Worcestershire sauce
- add the beef with any juices with it
- add the sour cream and stir well and let it simmer
- while its simmering and thickening to your likeness you can boil the pasta
- then top the cooked pasta with the beef sauce and dill and serve immediately
