Ingredients

How to make it

  • Pour out all about about 1/4 of the marashcino cherry juice
  • Pour cherries and juice in mason jar (or leave in the cherry jar)
  • Cover with one of the above liquors and leave in fridge 4 weeks, or longer
  • Snack on them at parties, add to drinks, add to desserts, etc.
  • My friend Donna soaks them in moonshine or triple sec, and serves over vanilla ice cream with crumbled shortbread cookies!
  • My friend Randy soaks blueberries in moonshine for months and brinkgs them out at halloween parties...he is famous for his "Booberries"!

This is the most scary recipe I have ever seen....Lori....my aversion to cherries is precisely from getting too many spiked with bourbon as a kid...Daddy kept fishing his cherries out of his cocktail and fed them to me until I got sick. (all over his new girlfriend at the time) He dropped me off to mom with a spiked cherry hangover. Ugh. I'll never get over it. LOL but I'm sure that others will love this recipe. I'm just not into it. Hugs honey.
