How to make it

  • Follow the instructions on the Devils Food Cake Mix,bake according,cool completely.
  • Now...Crumble cake into a large bowl,scoop frosting by the spoonfuls over the crumbled cake crumbs.
  • Sprinkle with one cup of the coconut,and pecans...stir around gently,just to blend.
  • Now...cookie,take that trusty ole' hand-me-down cookie scoop that you inherited for Grandma's treasure trove... treasure?...Hummm? Flashback! Wonder why that makes me think 'Pirates of the Caribbean' Oh well...back to the kisses.
  • Shape the mixture in about one and one fourth inch circumference,and place on your parchment paper,cover,and chill out for a hour or so.
  • Mean time... I don't 'mean' time...I mean in the time being...Oh,you know what I mean...back at the ranch,combine the remaining coconut and the remainder of the Texas Pecans,stir well.
  • Melt the white chocolate,with the gulfwax paraffin...for the crunch.
  • Dip the chilled kisses in the warm melted chocolate,allow any excess to drip off,place arm coated kisses back on your parchment paper,sprinkle with the coconut pecan mixture.
  • Chill...again...until set.
  • Place these sweet nothings in pretty little ruffled paper cups.
