How to make it

  • Have cream cheese and butter at room temperature.
  • Blend well.
  • Gradually stir in the dry cheese sauce mix, green onion, lemon juice, shredded cheddar and parsley.
  • Shape mixture into one large ball ( or two smaller ones )
  • Roll in chopped nuts ( or parsley )
  • Serve immediately
  • Note: for best serving, if chilled and made ahead of time, remove from refrigerator 1 hour ahead of time to soften up
  • Surround and serve with crackers
